FigLab MixAge 6-7 months 24 lbs Will be neutered week of 5/20/24 Name: Fig Aliasis: Figgy, Fig Newton, Fin “Fig” Bits: - Crate Trained- Potty trained - Loves all dogs, and parakeets - Loves walks - Passenger king in cars - Not phased by loud noises - Loves to be held and kissed Hello my name is Fig and I’m from Uvalde, Texas! I am a quiet and sensitive boy, and I was chosen to ride shotgun during the freedom ride to Buffalo because of my good behavior! When I met my foster mommy, I immediately knew I was safe and I stuck lovingly by her side ever since. I love to be with my human so I would prefer to have someone that either works from home or is not far away for very long. Amazingly I have not had any accidents in the home since I have arrived as I have come pre-potty trained! Also, I am fantastic on a leash! I love my foster doggy brother, and we get along nicely. I am more of a follower than a leader, so I would really like to have a home with another dog if possible. It does not matter the size as I get along with everyone! Unfortunately, I am not cat tested just yet, but I have a docile and sweet demeanor and my foster mommy thinks that I would probably do well with others in the home. There is a parakeet in my home currently and I like to watch him, but I do not get overly eager around him. I am still working on Crate training. I will go into my crate very willingly, as this is where I have all my meals. However, I will start to whine after a few minutes of being in there and this is something I am still working on. One of my weaknesses is that I would prefer to sleep in the bed with my mom and dad. However, I will settle for the floor of the bedroom if that is your preference. I just wanna be near you at all times! I am very sweet and I take treats and food super gently. It is amazing that some doggies like me are this way naturally! I may be young, but I have an old soul and you can tell that I’ve been through a lot before I came to Buffalo. The night that I arrived here, I rolled around in the grass for several minutes. Then my foster mommy spoke to my foster in Texas, who said I had never rolled in grass before because there was no grass where I lived! I enjoy the simple things and would love to have an outdoor space in my new home. Speaking of simple things, please have plenty of stuffy toys for me. I like to carry them in my mouth, but I am very gentle with all of my toys. As well, I do like chewy bones. However, time with you is what’s most important to me. I will require a foster home where I have good availability to spend time with my human. Could that be you?
